Cody Parkman, CMI, MPAc

Always curious to understand the “why” and “how” that makes someone or something tick — whether that means better understanding a teammate or interpreting the latest tax regulations for a client — Cody takes a rational and reasoned approach to figuring things out. He is persistent, detail oriented and always helpful.

Cody began his career in public accounting in 2017. Since then, he has worked with private companies in the manufacturing, oil and gas, retail, and wholesale and distribution industries, to name a few. His primary area of focus include sales and use tax, specifically audit defense, Voluntary Disclosure Agreements (VDAs), tax research and matrices, and a variety of consulting projects.

Born and raised in Texas, Cody, his wife and their two dogs currently live in Willis, Texas. He loves exercising and weightlifting, hunting, fishing, woodworking and generally working with his hands — including cooking for family and friends and filling up his freezer!
