Corey Scholl, CPA

Bringing a great sense of energy and a cooperative spirit to each interaction, Corey works to stay in tune with clients’ needs. He encourages communication within his teams and with clients so he can deliver a timely, high-quality work product and overall positive client experience.

Corey began his career in public accounting in 2020 and has since been exposed to various fund structures and strategies within the alternative investment industry. While providing assurance services to traditional hedge funds, fund-of-funds, venture capital/private equity funds and digital asset funds, Corey is most passionate about the digital asset fund space. In such an evolving area, Corey often acts as a resource to clients as they work through challenges such as those related to accounting, record keeping, polices and controls.

Corey lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Aside from accounting and auditing, Corey enjoys just about any outdoor activity — from golf to fishing — and tries to visit a new beach every year. One of his favorite beach destinations is Corolla, North Carolina.
