Eric Burdette, CPA, MBA

Eric uses his strong technical background to proactively identify solutions for clients, so he can drive value and help them minimize state and local taxes. Just as important as his expertise, Eric is a great listener who pays close attention to what clients and their businesses need, helping him build trust and develop strong relationships. 

Eric has immersed himself in the state and local tax arena since beginning his career in 2005. With a focus on income and franchise taxes, he assists clients with various multi-state planning and tax compliance projects, restructuring, risk mitigation and remediation, representation in tax controversies and administrative appeals and accounting for income taxes. Eric serves a variety of multinational public and private companies, with a focus on manufacturing, distribution, professional services, telecommunications, retail and consumer products. Additionally, he has experience working with state and local tax authorities and economic development officials to assist clients with claiming tax credits and discretionary incentives.

Eric resides in Strongsville, Ohio, with his wife and their three boys. While most of his time is spent keeping up with his kids’ activities and cheering for them at soccer games, he also enjoys rooting for Cleveland’s sports teams.
