James has a personal goal of understanding each client’s needs and challenges, so he can work with them to provide solutions that make a difference. Beyond that, he also considers it his job to make complex tax laws easier to understand for anyone who doesn’t have an advanced background in tax.
Since beginning his public accounting career in 2015, James has spent most of his time working with mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and business development companies. He has targeted experience working with complex fund and investment structures, including long-short funds, international funds and master limited partnership funds. James has also worked in the private fund arena, performing tax compliance services for hedge and private equity funds.
James lives in Boardman, Ohio, with his wife and their two dogs. They are avid Pittsburgh sports fans and enjoy traveling to new destinations, including several places in Europe.
