The clients Jenny works with often find themselves faced with urgent tax issues, so she is always prepared to drop whatever she is doing to help. And she explains those solutions in a way that clients can easily understand how various technical issues will impact their real-life tax situation.
Jenny works with clients in many different sectors, including service businesses, security traders/brokers, high-net worth individuals, and real estate — including commercial, industrial, self-storage and multi-family, as well as real estate funds. Her varied experience has enabled her to gain critical expertise in the areas of partnership allocations, partner/shareholder transactions and sales of businesses. Specifically, Jenny has spent much of her career focusing on state and local tax concerns, particularly sales and use tax nationwide and Ohio’s Commercial Activity Tax. Her years of research and specialized SALT training enable her to assist clients with issues such as state tax audits, tax-minimizing entity structures, taxability of transactions, and nexus and exposure studies. She also has built relationships with other state and local consultants across the country to provide clients with additional resources in state-specific matters.
Jenny resides in Land O' Lakes, Florida, with her husband and their two daughters. She is a hands-on mom, enjoys cooking and is a big fan of Cleveland’s own Michael Symon. A true Ohioan at heart, Jenny will forever be an avid Ohio State football fan. One of her best memories is storming the field with her dad after OSU beat Michigan. She still has the red-painted grass she pulled from the field to prove it!
