Julie’s friendly nature leaves her always wanting to learn more about the clients she works with, beyond their auditing needs. Getting to know them personally, as more than business contacts, fuels Julie’s motivation to exceed their expectations.
Beginning her public accounting career in 2003, Julie specializes in the audits of mutual funds and private funds. She is also involved in examinations performed to maintain compliance with SEC custody rules. Among other areas, Julie’s expertise includes auditing, accounting and financial reporting requirements specific to complex derivative instruments, Level 3 securities, guaranteed investment contracts, controlled foreign corporations (CFCs), funds-of-funds, private equity funds and master-feeder structures. She has also worked with an array of portfolio compositions, including equity funds, blended funds, and those with significant holdings in taxable fixed income securities and municipal bonds. The clients Julie serves range from newly seeded start-up funds to well-established fund families and multiple series trusts.
