When advising on legal issues, Marc always keeps the firm’s best interests in mind. A natural team player, he applies his pragmatic problem-solving skills to risk management to find a win-win business solution for both the firm and its clients.
Marc served as a corporate attorney in private law practice at Hawaii’s largest law firm for over 27 years, including 13 years as a managing partner. He is now an invaluable in-house resource to the firm who can address various legal issues and management challenges. Marc works closely with the firm’s CEO and Partner in Charge of Risk & Quality Management to identify, prepare for and appropriately address all risk management needs. A sampling of the legal issues that Marc handles for the firm include contracts, regulatory compliance, subpoenas, human resources, professional licensing, business registrations, and acquisitions.
After living in Honolulu for nearly three decades, Marc has spent the last few years settling into the distinctly seasonal climate of Northeast Ohio and the Great Lakes region. A 1986 NHL draft pick of the Hartford Whalers, Marc and his wife reside in Brecksville, Ohio, with their four very athletic children. His hobbies include recreational hockey, fishing and trail walking.
