Shawn Smith, CPA

Shawn takes a detailed approach to each and every engagement, and his strong work ethic enables him to help private companies and their owners achieve the most optimal tax result for their businesses. He always strives to understand the “why” behind issues and transactions so he can structure an effective and beneficial tax plan for clients.

Shawn began his public accounting career in 2017 and has focused on servicing private company clients across various industries. He works with real estate companies, not-for-profits, small businesses and individuals. Shawn spends the majority of his time focusing on real estate partnerships, assisting with tax compliance, planning and researching complex tax issues.

Shawn currently resides in New Baltimore, Michigan. He spends the majority of his time hanging out with family and friends, reading and traveling to northern Michigan in the summertime.
